So Mogwai sent me two lists, one for Northern Ireland and one for Iceland. Let's just look at the numbers here for a second. The Northern Ireland list has 18 albums listed, and the Iceland one has 54.

Hold on, doesn't Iceland have a considerably smaller population than Northern Ireland, I hear you ask? Well that's correct. I propose we work out the math here.

The population of Northern Ireland is 1,789,000, and the population of Iceland is a mere 318,452.
So, if we were to say....

18 {No. of albums in NI list} / 1,789,000 {population} = 1.00614869 × 10^(-5)
and
54 {No. of albums in Iceland list} / 318 452 {population} = 0.000169570296
that means that
0.000169570296 / (1.00614869 × (10^(-5))) = 16.8534032

THEREFORE, we can deduce that Mogwai is 16.8534032 times more of an Iceland fan than a Northern Ireland fan.
